These terms apply to the VEMScore website, app and game conversations during the free NBA beta.

Probabilities, not advice. VEMScore is not a sportsbook, does not accept wagers, does not guarantee outcomes, and does not provide betting, financial or legal advice. VEMScore is for adults 21 and older. If gambling is a problem for you or someone you know, call 1-800-GAMBLER.

What VEMScore shows

VEMScore publishes model probabilities for NBA games next to sportsbook market numbers with the bookmaker margin removed. Forecasts are locked before tip-off and graded in a public record, wins and losses alike. The record is new: it starts with the beta, so there is no long track record yet, and past results do not predict future results. Sports outcomes are uncertain, the model can be wrong, and market numbers can be delayed or incomplete. You are responsible for your own decisions and for following the laws that apply where you live.

Who can use the community

Reading the site is open to visitors. Creating an account and posting is for people who are 21 or older. We ask for your birth date once at sign-up to check this and keep only a yes or no. We may suspend accounts we believe belong to someone under 21.

Accounts and community rules

You are responsible for your account and password. Game conversations are for comparing reads. Do not sell or promote picks, groups, services or promo codes; post links, contact details or payment handles; harass, threaten or use hateful language about others; share other people’s private information; encourage illegal gambling; or post anything unlawful. Posts are checked automatically, may be held for review, and may be removed. We may remove content and suspend or end accounts at our discretion, with or without notice. You keep ownership of what you write and give VEMScore a non-exclusive license to display it in the service. We do not endorse member posts, and nothing a member writes is advice from VEMScore.

Beta access

The beta is free. Features may be incomplete, change, pause, or be removed at any time. We may limit access to protect the service and its users. If paid plans are introduced later, they will be announced before they apply to you.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass access controls, scrape protected data, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, or use the service unlawfully. Automated requests may be rate-limited or blocked.

Third-party data and intellectual property

VEMScore, the Victory Expectancy Model name, the site design, and original product materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Sportsbook market numbers are shown for comparison. Third-party sport, league, team, sportsbook and provider names remain the property of their respective owners and do not imply any endorsement.

No warranties and limits

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of any probability or market number. To the extent permitted by law, VEMScore is not liable for losses arising from your use of the service or from decisions you make using it.
